What we do

All the services you need to support children and young people to thrive.

Children’s Homes

Newpath Social Care Children’s Homes provide a nurturing and supportive environment within our children’s homes, specifically designed to meet the unique needs of young people and children to reach their full potential. Our experienced staff adopt a holistic approach to care, addressing complex needs and challenging behaviour.

We prioritise achieving the five key outcomes: be healthy, stay safe, enjoy & achieve, make a positive contribution, and achieve economic wellbeing.

For young people, support is tailored to foster independence, self-esteem, and resilience—we empower our children to thrive. Our children’s homes are strategically located to provide access to essential services, amenities, and opportunities for socialisation, promoting overall wellbeing and personal growth.

With a commitment to excellence and a passion for making a difference, we strive to create a brighter future for the children in our care.

Supported Accommodation (16+)

Tailored support that builds independent living skills, confidence and resilience as young people transition to adulthood. We focus on routines, multi-agency working, goal setting and practical skills for day-to-day life.

Be Healthy

Seeking medical care / Meal Planning

We support young people to plan their groceries and meals, discuss which items belong in a cabinet and which go in the fridge or freezer. We encourage cooking simple, nutritious meals together and teach safe food preparation and storage. Young people learn to plan meals in advance and shop for groceries (including items that last several days).

Knowing when to seek medical care and how/when to take medication is essential. We teach young people to notice when something might be wrong and how to get help. We also support safe access to community resources and, where requested, using public transport.

Enjoy & Achieve

Education & Training

We offer support with CV writing, provide Independent Living Skills sessions, and help find courses, internships or apprenticeships that match interests. To reduce stress, we help young people discover healthy hobbies and leisure activities within placement and in the community.

Stay Safe

Duty of Care

We provide a safe environment with opportunities to learn. Our qualified staff ensure placements promote development. Using principles of social learning, we help young people learn from each other and thrive.

Make a Positive Contribution

You are the community

We encourage a proactive stance to life and participation in the community: enrolling in education and training and taking part in local activities. We work closely with youth offending teams and local authorities to reduce anti-social or offending behaviour and keep care plans up to date for positive outcomes.

Achieve Economic Wellbeing

Budgeting Skills

Together we list typical living costs—rent, bills, food, medicine, personal items and activities—so young people can budget confidently. We discuss regular expenses, possible consequences of overspending, and ensure they understand how to manage money safely.
